ADVICE FOR DOGS OF ANY AGE WITH SPECIFIC TRAINING AND BEHAVIOUR ISSUES

During your bespoke 1 to 1 session, we can address:

Loose lead walking by your side (not pulling)
Anxious or unwanted behaviour towards other dogs, people, bikes, runners or cars whilst lead walking
Separation anxiety
Jumping up
Getting their attention when distracted i.e. quickly getting them to focus on you
Coming when called (recall)
Out of control play/excitement
Counter surfing
Lead reactivity
Shy/anxious behaviours
Biting/nipping
Stay and wait until called
Leaving or letting go of an object on command
Unwanted behaviour when anyone is at the front door
Any basic training skills i.e sit, down, stand and focus

During all these sessions, we will demonstrate the correct instructions to use (voice and hand commands), how to use them and when to use them. We aim to support you to better understand how your puppy/dog communicates and why they may do certain behaviours.

This is the key to having a well behaved and balanced dog and is fundamental in any training that you will do with them.

Most of our clients only need one or two of our 1 to 1 sessions before feeling confident enough to progress their training on their own.

This can be dependent on your requirements and how deep-rooted any unwanted behaviours are, which can be further discussed on first contact.
